Despite a slight drop in temps this week, the action is still solid. Clients are reporting 40 to 100 fish per day per boat, with most catches in the 3 to 6 lb range. While no true giants hit the nets this week, the quality and consistency remain strong.

Cooler weather has pushed fish a bit deeper, and anglers are finding success in that 12–30 foot range. Best-producing baits include:

  • Watermelon Senkos

  • Scrounger heads

  • Mid-size swimbaits

The cranking bite has tapered off slightly, but we’re still seeing some solid hits on XD8s and XD10s—just not with the same volume as earlier weeks.

Depth Shift Noted
As the lake adjusts to seasonal changes, fish are transitioning deeper during the day. Keep a slower presentation handy and focus on structure.

Still plenty of fish, still plenty of fun—just a bit more technical this week.
