Cooler mornings haven’t slowed the bite. In fact, bass are feeding aggressively as we move deeper into the fall season—and the numbers speak for themselves.

Topwater action is on fire at first light. Pop-Rs and Zara Spooks are the stars of the morning show, drawing violent surface strikes along rocky banks and points. One angler pulled in 25 fish on topwater before the sun hit the water.

Once the surface bite fades, watermelon Senkos and black/blue jigs become the go-to options. Fish are holding in brush and around submerged timber, and they’re not shy—every cast has potential.

Today’s Catch Rates (Per Angler):

  • Topwater: Up to 25 fish before 9 AM

  • All Day Totals: 60 to 120 bass per angler, per day

If numbers are your thing, this is your season. The fall feed is real, and Lake Aguamilpa is delivering day after day.
