In addition, Mario is the only outfitter operating out of the Federation Lodge situated on Lake Baccarac which is known as a big bass lake and the holder of the current world record.​

Mario learned the bass fishing and lodge business well by working five years for The legendary Billy Chapman Sr., who is credited with introducing Florida strain largemouth bass to several Mexican lakes including Aquamilpa and Baccarac. Mario speaks both Spanish & English and has a degree in tourism.

Known today as Mario Big fish’ Guevara, he then ventured out to build his amazing reputation on hosting large and small groups to a fishing experience of a lifetime at world class facilities where the room and meal accommodations are sure to please every guest.
